Gemma Atkinson has exclusively revealed that she will endure an \u201cexhausting\u201d time looking after her and Gorka Marquez\u2019s two young children alone, due to her fianc\u00e9\u2019s Strictly Come Dancing 2023 commitments.<\/p>\n
Speaking to Express.co.uk about the couple\u2019s candid new docuseries for W, Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens, the former Emmerdale star addressed the challenges that Strictly season can bring.<\/p>\n
She divulged: \u201cStrictly is always tough, in that Gorka is away from home a lot.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut it\u2019s the same for a lot of families, so we just try to get on with it really,\u201d the mum-of-two resolutely added.<\/p>\n
Gemma recently gave birth to the couple\u2019s second child, son Thiago, in July, while their daughter Mia is four-years-old.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n Fortunately for the busy couple, they got the opportunity to work together from the comfort of their own home for their exciting new W show.<\/p>\n Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens shows the stars preparing to welcome baby number two while juggling their hectic schedules.<\/p>\n Speaking about their motivation to film the docuseries, Gemma revealed she and Gorka wanted to provide an informative take on family life and pregnancy.<\/p>\n The actress shared: \u201cWe decided to do Life Behind the Lens as the W channel made it clear from the off it would be an informative documentary, and not just an at home reality.<\/p>\n \u201cAlong the way, we meet pelvic floor specialists, midwifery teams and GPs.\u201d<\/p>\n Gemma went on to say she\u2019s already been inundated with positive feedback from women who have credited the show for helping them through their own pregnancies.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve actually had women message me already saying how helpful they have found it throughout their own pregnancy,\u201d the TV and radio star revealed.<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/4959487.jpg?r=1694691589635\")
